So we were talking about how monitors affect your eyes, from CRTS to LCDs.

And I remembered hearing about Alienwares curved monitor last year. It was supposed to release the 2nd 1/2 of 2008. Just wondering if anyone has seen it in action?

I mean a Super widescreen 42" monitor... *Drool*
I SO WANT IT!

I have searched, but I can't seem to find it for sale....

I think it's better to just get 3 normal widescreens.

Wow, that is an impressive monitor. I wonder how much it really costs.

Why do you guys want such low resolution? It seems like, when coding, I can never have a big enough monitor. Where's the 16000x12000 monitors?

I run at 1920x1200 on Monitor 1, 1440x900 on monitor 2. This still isn't enough space for my IDE(s) which I generally have two up (Zend PHP and EDI Mapper which is also eclipse based).

I run a single 22" 1920 x 1080 (HD 1080p resolution) LCD monitor and it seems to be enough for me.

I run a 1600x1200 at work, and 1440x800 at home, and both feel too small at times.

How big is your screen size? You could always up the resolution, but not if the screen is too small that you can't make out the text.

Coding errors would start to creep in.

I always use the maximum resolution my monitor will support.

Is that such a good idea? Jordan's laptop supports 1920 x 1080, but because the screen is not massive, everything becomes too small to read.

    It works well for me
