This week has been hell. I finished reading a book on Java programming, except my computer was having problems all week and I could not practice what I learned. I spent days and I kept getting problem after problem. I... Well its been another week and time for the 3rd part of my series of blogs.

This week has been hell. I finished reading a book on Java programming, except my computer was having problems all week and I could not practice what I learned. I spent days and I kept getting problem after problem. I ended up getting a new graphics card that only partially works. I am only able install Backtrack 4 as an OS. I am not going to bother since I am getting a new computer next pay.

I only ran and lifted 2 days. I just lacked the motivation. I didnt have motivation to do anything the whole week which is probably because I was trying to get the computer figured out. I did get the new protein powder that I refered to in my last blog. It is called Muscle Milk and it is probably the best thing I have tasted.

One thing I did accomplish was writing the next couple of "Cracking the System" guides, which I will be posting soon. DIdn't do a whole lot the week besides work, but I am glad to be back on codecall.

Throughout the week I decided the 2 languages I was going to learn were C++ and Java. I finished reading, "Accelerated C++, Practical Programming by Example" which was good. I have learned the basics of C++. I am now going to learn the basics of Java. If you have a suggestion on things for Java, or a more advanced C++ let me know.

I had a very good week. I feel much better then I have in a long time. Running and lifting in the mornings makes the day go much better for me and feels great. I started taking Protein, but I need to find a new one due to the horrible taste. Muscle Milk may be the way to go according to others. If anyone else is interested in running and lifting it would be sick to get some motivation from you.

It has been busy and I have not had much time to meditate, but I need to get better at it.

I am going to be using this blog to help you understand me, and also help me understand myself. Today I will be giving a little background. I have do not know any programming languages. Many may ask why i am here then? Well I have made it a goal to learn 2 programming languages.

I have always loved technology and wanted to learn a programming language, but have never took it upon myself to do it. I was more into other things. I am a recovering alcoholic and drug abuser. About a month ago I was hospitalized with problems to my pancreas. The problems were caused by excessive alcohol use. I decided that day I got out to stop my drinking and drug habit.

Recently I have found it continually getting harder and harder to stay away from these things. That is why I have decided to change my life. I have made a list of goals that I want to keep and can always use support. The list as of right now,

-Run 1 hour every day
-Lift 6 days a week
-Learn 2 programming languages
-Meditate 20 minutes a day

I plan on adding more. I will be updating my blog regularly with my progress. I meditated for the first time today, and I feel better about things. It was a relief to let go of the things on my mind. ]]> Showstopper http://forum.codecall.net/blogs/showstopper/345-fall-rise.html
