It has been close to a week since my last blog and I decided I needed something to do today.

Throughout the week I decided the 2 languages I was going to learn were C++ and Java. I finished reading, "Accelerated C++, Practical Programming by Example" which was good. I have learned the basics of C++. I am now going to learn the basics of Java. If you have a suggestion on things for Java, or a more advanced C++ let me know.

I had a very good week. I feel much better then I have in a long time. Running and lifting in the mornings makes the day go much better for me and feels great. I started taking Protein, but I need to find a new one due to the horrible taste. Muscle Milk may be the way to go according to others. If anyone else is interested in running and lifting it would be sick to get some motivation from you.

It has been busy and I have not had much time to meditate, but I need to get better at it.

Quote for today,

C++ and Java can be confusingly similar, in my opinion. Overall, I think you'll enjoy them both, however.

What made you choose those two languages?

You should probably spend more time with C++ and gain some experience, before moving to Java. Perhaps you should start a small project in C++?

I'm into exercising but I only lift twice a week. The lifting is for maintenance only - I do cardio 6-7 times a week. What does your split look like?

I am actually starting Java because it appealed more to me then C++. Right now I am runnining 6 days a week for at least a couple miles, then I come home and lift every day.
