  1. Ubuntu on my laptop

    Last night i have downloaded Ubuntu live CD (699mb) with free version of DAM (Download Accelerator Manager). It can download three times faster than WIndows. And this morning just have finished. Oh, maybe i must purchase DAM Ultimate in my good time for twenty times faster than Windows.

    After downloaded, i immediately burn image that ISO to DVD with InfraRecorder. I just trial Ubuntu and not install it, i afraid my current OS Windows can affecting because this is my first experience ...

    I've said a lot of nasty stuff about Micro$oft, mainly because their business practices are immoral, sleazy, and often downright illegal.     There is a fund called One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) that delivers laptops to children in developing countries. OLPC is funded by several technology companies, including Google, AMD, Intel, and Red Hat. Since the start of the project, OLPC computers have shipped with Linux installed.

    Now Micro$oft is "teaming up with" OLPC to "provide a Windows platform for the children" (paraphrase). Now, there are two possibilities for Micro$oft's motives for doing this:

    This my favorite trick in my college days to crash xp.
    1. Open notepad and type cmd.exe.
    2. Type cmd.exe nearly 10-15 types
    3. Then save file [filename].bat...To attract victims u can place interesting names....Note : I generally placed the names of girls.Also to make it brutal i used recursion i.e after 10-15 cmd write the name of u r batch file at end....
    4. this is it u r one cool virus is created.....

  7. Linux is not hard to use.

    I don't know why people say Linux is unfriendly and hard to use. I have been using Debian for nine days now and I haven't had any difficulties with it. Want to install software? Just download an RPM file, click on it, and let the package management program do all the work. Want to hook up to a network? Just click on the icon in the top right corner and select the network to connect to (in the GNOME desktop). Everything is intuitive, point-and-drool.
