before i start lets see what life is, as wikipedia says:
Life is a characteristic of organisms that exhibit certain biological processes such as chemical reactions or other events that results in a transformation. Living organisms are capable of growth and reproduction, some can communicate and many can adapt to their environment through changes originating internally
so we have some main keywords: biological processes ,transformation, growth, reproduction, communicate and adapt
what im trying to prove is that computers have a life, it may seem ridiculous and outrageous thought, but that's what people said when someone suggested that earth is round. before starting to prove my theory, i want to say that the world is much complicated than we think, not just because we simplified it with our science and math means that they are true. for example imagine two persons a,b: person a thinks that the earth spins around itself because of gravity and the bipolar system, person b thinks that someone keeps pushing the earth with his finger at night while all humans are asleep both will live the same way with the fact that the earth goes round....NONE OF THEM IS TRUE to the other person

so lets start applying the "living" characteristics from above on computers:
1. biological processes:
there's definitely processes in computers inside its electronic circuits
2. transformation and growth:
a computer makes his user buy new hardware and even update it's hardware, if you don't believe take a look on your pc when you first bought it and compare it with it's current state
4. reproduction:
well that's complicated; with the increasing need of computers companies make new pcs much faster and better than the old ones, and in the same time based on the old pcs, so a new pc that comes into the market is an evolution of an old pc
5. communicate:
do i even need to say it. INTERNET and networks
6. adapt:
new pcs now can adapt higher temperatures and high usage
-breathing:
any pc uses electricity which is it's own breathing system
-thinking:
human don't think by themselves, humans look around and learn from their environment then try to act upon these variables for example, humans didn't know that touching fire may harm them until they have touched it or another human told him the info(fire is bad)
same thing applies to computers, a programmer teaches the pc how to behave given variables and instructions. and what about AI!

the only difference that hold pcs from turning into complete living thing, is that they rely on humans , which will vanish with tyhe new AI implementations.

i know all this may sound as gibberish, but just if you think out of the box you will find that the pieces of the puzzles is falling into the right place.

Perhaps.... The one thing that a computer doesn't have that a human does is self awareness. Many people think this is the key to AI.....

Yes! Let's teach the computers to be self-aware! I am sure they will soon decline to work, asking users for rest for their circuits, and stating other demands...

    lol,
    think of it like this:
does your heart stop for a moment to take a rest?
-i would love to fulfill my pc demands since it will make her(my pc) faster and sexie..i mean better

I hope that we remove the laziness factor from them before we make them self aware.

i dont think a computer will be lazy, he can be happy and interactive

Computers do not reproduce them self

Btw interesting reading (and the post to them.)

Yes it called a heart attack.

    heheh
correct, pc also dies when it's processor malfunction.
    which is another similarity!

my computer is my symbiote, it clings to my forehead and draws resources out of me (money, time, parts, electricity i pay for) and in return i get visual and auditory entertainment, communication with other symbiotes and their hosts.
