Learning Java

Posted by kmilton7, 27 June 2012 · 1070 views

Although I had some previous exposure to Java, my knowledge of the language is pretty rudimentary. Essentially, I know the basic stuff, such as variables, methods, classes, operators.

Frankly, I only know how code really simple programs consisting of one class (main) and few methods (which I am pretty sure are redundant and can be integrated into the program better).

I found some interesting lectures on Java programming online like Stanford open course on Youtube. The lectures are fun, and easy to follow although the assignments require deep thinking (duh...). Oh here is the link by the way:

This is the main Stanford website. I suggest watching videos on Youtube though; the quality is better and it loads faster.

Well, here it is - the first blog entry of many more to come. :rules:
