Default asp help

I dl'ed Visual Web Developer Express 2005 from Mircosoft and was missing around with with some of their starter kits. I was just running them on a local host made with the express editions of Microsoft SQL Server 2005.

My question is, if I have a linux based server, running mySQL, is there a way to run it asp on there? If so, how? Thanks, kinda confused on all this, just got started a couple days ago on it

I was under the same impression about .NET. Check out Jimbo's post though - very interesting!
