Welcome to the official thread for the CodeCall Contest #6! If you are not a member, take this chance to join now. If you are not registered, you will not be able to win!

This contest is the 6th contest CodeCall has created. CodeCall will be giving out a total of $150 in Cash.

Everyone is automatically entered from this point forward. Here is how the points work:

Scoring Points

• 20 points per referral
  • Referral must be a member for 7 days and have 10 posts before credits are awarded.
    
• 1 point per reputation received
  
• 5 points per thread
  • 1 bonus point for each valid post made in a thread you created.
    
• 1 point per post
  • 0.01 bonus for each character upto 100 characters.
    
• 10 points code thread (you must PM me)
  

In addition to these points you will receive 25 points per tutorial submitted! In order to gain points for tutorials, your tutorial must be posted here or private messaged to a Mod or Admin.

Prizes
Now for the good part, the prizes! The winners will be determined by how many points they have when the contest has ended. There will be a total of 3 winners. Here are the awards:

First Place Prizes($100 total):
$100 in Cash via Paypal provided by CodeCall



Second Place Prizes ($25 Value):
$25 Cash via Paypal sponsored by CodeCall




Third Place Prizes ($25 Total):
$25 Cash via Paypal sponsored by CodeCall

Deadlines:
The deadlines for the above contests are November 20th, 2008. The winners will be notified via PM and Email.




Posting contests:
Two other contests (still going from the last contest) are still in effect and you only need to post! These are simple contests where you need to post either the 300th or 700th post. These two contests have no deadlines.

What is a tutorial? - A tutorial is any step-by-step guide related to programming with images. Examples can be found HERE and HERE.

What is a Referral? - referral information can be found HERE

Forum Posting - Forums that will not acquire points is anything in the General Forum (The Lounge, Technology Ramble, Announcements, etc.) or Tech Support forums.

Rules have been updated. You can now earn points for replies to a thread you've created and earn bonus points based on the amount of characters in your posts.

EDIT: I realize the points module on the right hand column isn't working correctly. I will fix that soon.
