WTF!! I wanted to get the CodeCall IRC up and running but the information provided is not much help at all. I have read through this thread, checked out Podnet, googled, and nothing. I am getting stuck at how to connect to the CodeCall IRC server, I believe I need a port? I downloaded mIRC and put irc.codecall.net in as a server but it won't connect.
OMFG.. i just got it. Please disregard. lol... i'm going crazy.![]()

Hey, something I'd like to bring up, if anyone else has gotten this problem.
Seems the IRC channel will no longer allow me to talk, as I'm required to have voice permissions (+v). Anyone know why this happened?
Wow I changed my sig!
same here zeke
yo homie i heard you like one-line codes so i put a one line code that evals a decrypted one line code that prints "i love one line codes"

Well at least it's not just me.![]()

Fixed.
Good. If you ever have an issue like this and no one is available for podnet (the network that hosts the room currently, at least I think it does), email me (phil@podnet.org) and I will make myself quickly available. I can also handle server problems/questions.
You should get a built in chatroom that integrates with vBulletin.

Sorry if that has been suggested before.
I'm using Trillian, and Havn't had any problems connecting to other irc channels, however I cant seem to connect to codecall. Is there a specific port I should use? The other two irc servers put up port numbers in there infomation needed to connect. And also does the server require ssl?
The IRC server no longer exists and hasn't been in use for many months. It's (relatively) recently stopped resolving because James no longer has the irc.codecall.net CNAME entry setup. It used to resolve to irc.esper.net which was the actual IRC host, run by a long-time member morefood2001. Sadly there was just never enough interest in an IRC channel to keep it alive, we've tried 5 times now ;-(
I've locked this thread and hope it can be resurrected in the future![]()
