It was $75 total to implement the blog system. We went with a Joomla! addon rather than a vBulletin addon. You can view it at CodeCall Programming Member Blogs and blog.codecall.net/write/

To put it simply, the vBulletin was very ugly. The current one is easy to work with, has a nice editor interface and already integrates into Joomla! (which, in our case, is already integrated wit vBulletin).
