I know this has happened to a lot of us!

We have encountered numbers such as: 4294967295
and we have no freaking idea what that number is in the decimal system, or aka "real life" numbers.

I have found a way to know what the numbers really mean.

Instructions

1) Go on the android Market, and look for "Base converter pro"
2) Open the app, and select the following:

Input: decimal
output: hexadecimal

For input, type a number such as: 4294967295
click convert, and it will give you: FFFFFFFF

copy the result you get (FFFFFFFF)

Now change the input and output to:
Input: Hexadecimal
output: Decimal

For input, type the result you got before (in this case "FFFFFFFF")
click convert..

and Voila.
There is your answer of what the number really means.

(you can do this online on pc too.. look for tools that convert the above)

i mean it might help if a game is using hex for hp value.....but thats what the hexing people are for :P

AND even if the game does use hex values you still gotta use the + thing to find out if its the right one or not.....

so again..what is your point??? u spammer

that's prob cuz u guys have never tried putting negative numbers into GameCIH :P .. CIH also gives back unsigned numbers some times.. like EXAMPLE, a code that is 56493 and only give 3 lives..
why is 3 such a big number?
the value is unsigned.

(this is sort of a bad example.. but delivers my point)

ok take inotia 3 item quantity hack for example..
Why is it that having 1 item = 33554432 in gamecih
10 of same item = 335544320 in gamecih

I'm guessing items are unsigned hence 1 item doesn't equal 1 gamecih value..

Edit: Ok after trying it myself and using the apps, i still don't get it...

when I change to converting hex to dec won't i get the same number as before, to when I converted from dec to hex??

You can use it too look at the pattern at which the numbers increase. Jaguark put up a cheat for Baseball Superstars II that found the amount of active points and listed their unsigned values. By converting to hex, you can see a much clearer pattern than the plain unsigned integers.

Unsigned
1.....10878976
2.....10813440
3.....10747904
4.....10682368
5.....10616832
6.....10551296
7.....10485760
8.....11468800
9.....11403264
10...11337728

Hex
1.....A6 0000
2.....A5 0000
3.....A4 0000
4.....A3 0000
5.....A2 0000
6.....A1 0000
7.....A0 0000
8.....AF 0000
9.....AE 0000
10...AD 0000

By finding patterns like this, one might be able to figure out how other values are stored within the game such as Money or G-Points.
