What do you like about notepad++?

I love it for a lot of reasons
  1. Automatically escape all quotes (textFX)
  2. reindent C++ code (textFX)
  3. submit code to HTML and CSS validator
  4. base convertor
  5. HTML tidy - convert to HTML, XHTML, XML and cleans up MS word code
  6. auto-close XHTML/XML tags

Those are some of things that textFX (a feature in notepad++ does). I also like color syntax highlighting and macros.
