It's something REALLY old. As in the windows look like they are run in Windows 95 (you know - the old classic theme). Get the current version of Dreamweaver, turn it back about 5 versions, and you've got our one.
I agree, I found Notepad2 too limiting. Notepad++ can open more than one at once, but then so does VWD. It does the same as Dreamweaver, except it's slightly less powerful - and £400 cheaper.
