A big fuss was made about it. VB.Net is completely different to VB6. Basically they took C# and gave it a Basic syntax. There are some C# things missing from VB.Net of course but essentially VB.Net == C#. It's just a matter of changing which words signify what, the overall structure is exactly the same.
