You're talking about that it's for a GUI-application. Are you then using Swing? If you're using Swing, then you can access UnicodeJFrame.

After searching on the internet I fell over this example, that uses UnicodeJFrame: http://www.engineering.uiowa.edu/~sw...F/Unicode.java

I don't have experience with Java w/ Unicode, and I don't know much about UnicodeJFrame, actually I just remember the name. If you really want to look into unicode, then Google would be a nice place to start, and of course Unicode Home Page
