Default Web Conferencing - Online Meetings & Presentations

With so many tools for web conferencing (online meetings and presentations) available, I’m totally confused about choosing a software/ hardware combination appliance for my office. Thanks in advance to anyone and everyone who might have used one and recommend!!!

I've used Microsoft Netmeeting often and it works well (plus it is free). I suggest that.

I admit that with the vast amount of service providers available today, it’s not always easy to find the one that best fills the bill for your particular web conferencing needs Frankly speaking about my personal experience that I have been using RHUB Web Conferencing myself and it has been excellent in fulfilling my needs of web conferencing This web conferencing appliance is installable behind your firewall and features screen sharing, annotation/whiteboard remote control It is available from rhubcom Dot com Simple, Secure & Affordable Multi-Function Web Conferencing Appliance Try it

Cisco's Telepresence is pretty cool, but I think it is expensive.

Yeah Microsoft Netmeeting , Skype etc are good products but for financial or business related conferences the best option is always to go with the pros. like Rhubcom and others.

But I am not sure if its possible to encrypt audio / video conferencing with it ..yeah one can do encrypt file exchanges and deskshop sharing ..For secure solutions you shall also opt for GoMeetNow --- RHUB Hosted Web Conferencing Service where there is no need to download anything whatsoever and it provide connectivity in seconds..

VoIP is one of the common mode and is implemented with IP phones where as conference calling requires a pc with a hardware appliance as Web Conferencing Appliance, Mac Web Conferencing, Remote support appliance, Remote access appliance turbomeeting as some of the guys talked above..or softwares as Skype, MSN but the quality of interaction is better as it can use the broadband to send information where a voip uses a limits but normally reserve amount of bandwidth to insure that calls are clear and reliable. Communication over freewares as MSN , Gtalk is not that secure and qualitative....there is always chances of data losses...but conferencing appliances as Gotomeeting, Webex, Rhubcom are more secure for online presentations, webinars and interactive meetings with many users.
