How often does it snow in NC? Isn't it too far south to get sufficient snow?

No we do get snow in NC. But I live right south of the mountains, so usually when it hits the mountains, it dissipates. But if it makes it past the mountains, it is usually so cold that it is all Ice.

Maybe 8 feet in some parts of NY, it's a big state. The part of NY I live in, there's only 1.5 - 2 feet.

I had seen the pictures on the news about the snow over there uptil 8 feet.
